Xbox 720… or not?
{EAV:de573c759cc2744a}
Hey visitors,
I would like to start off by saying that I am going to move my posting to Fridays. The past couple Thursdays have been really busy for me and I haven’t gotten home until around 10. So Posts will be coming on Tuesdays and Fridays. Getting back to the point, today’s post is going to be about the rumored Xbox 720. The Xbox 720 is the console that people think is going to be the successor of the Xbox 360. Microsoft hasn’t announced the name yet, but people are guessing that it is going to be the Xbox 720. I personally think it will be a different name. I don’t know what, just not Xbox 720. … Continue Reading
Where we’re headed with OS X Mountain Lion?
Hello, Viewers!
All of you guys have computers, unless maybe your reading this on a phone. Windows, Mac, Alienware, or maybe even Chromebook. However, most people know about Apple’s Mac, famous for it’s OS X. For those of you that don’t already know, the current version of OS X, the operating system, is 10.7 or OS X Lion. Apple has a trend, as many companies do, of releasing a new cat every summer. So it’s come around to that time again when Apple is showing off their new developer’s preview of the next OS. The next version will be 10.8, or OS X Mountain Lion. … Continue Reading
Metro UI Rant
Hey Viewers,
Sorry about missing yesterday, I was finalizing the set up needed to bring in The Scuttlebutt’s new writer Alex Arze. We are glad to have him on board and are looking forward to his posts. This post will be on Microsoft Windows Metro UI. This post will be more along the lines of a rant or review then a rumor.
Earlier this month, Microsoft released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview to the public. Windows 8 comes with Microsofts new UI they call Metro. Metro UI was first released in Windows Mobile 7, and is now being add to the desktop OS. … Continue Reading

No Thursday Post
Hey Viewers,
Sorry about the disappointing news, but I won’t be making a new post tonight. I have a 3-5 page paper due Saturday that I have barely started. I will be working on that probably through the night. I will probably post the next article on Sunday. Tomorrow I have band, and I will be working on my paper. Then on Saturday, I have band from 6:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. because we have regionals. Sorry about the inconvenience and I will post as soon as I get the chance.
Another thing I wanted to add was I am thinking about getting another writer. Right now I think I am going to have him write about the same stuff, rumors, but if you want some variety comment below suggestions for him. I will post later about the progress with that.
I’m out,

What to Expect with Microsoft in 2012
Greetings Viewers,
Today, I have decided to start a topic on Microsoft. I am at 94 viewers on the site and I thought adding a new topic would be a good way to “celebrate” the site getting to 100 visitors. The first post I am going to do about Microsoft goes a long with what I have been doing for the past few weeks, a “What to Expect…”. I did a What to Expect in 2012 about Android and Apple, this one is about Microsoft. It will talk about things like Windows 8, Microsoft Office, Kinect, Xbox, and more. … Continue Reading
What to Expect with Apple in 2012
Welcome Viewers,
First off, I would like to start this weeks post by apologizing about not adding a post last week. I had a lot going on and didn’t get home on Thursday until around 11:30 pm. I didn’t get any free time really until Sunday and Monday and decided to just wait until this week to do my next post. So again I am terribly sorry and will try not to do that again.
The last blog post was about what to expect from Android in 2012, so I thought it would make sense to do an article about Apple in 2012. So today’s post will be about what to expect from Apple in the upcoming year. … Continue Reading
What to Expect with Android in 2012
Greetings Viewers,
As you probably know, Google’s I/O Developer’s Conference is coming up this year. Google I/O is a conference where developers discuss developing for android and Google. Things like building web, mobile, and enterprise applications and also developing for Google’s technology like Android, Chrome OS, Google Web Toolkit, and more. This is usually a two day conference and was originally scheduled for the 24th and 25th of April, but was extended to a three day conference in June. The new dates for Google I/O is June 27th through the 29th. In this article I am going to discuss what you might expect to come from Android this year in 2012. Google made some pretty big advancements in 2011, going from Gingerbread to Honeycomb, and even announcing Ice Cream Sandwich. So lets jump in. … Continue Reading
What is ACTA?
Welcome Viewers,
Today I will not be talking about a rumor for Android or Apple. I would like to take today to talk about ACTA. ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. Some people are saying that ACTA is just the European SOPA. I hate to pop your bubble but it’s not. ACTA applies to every country that has signed the agreement. That includes United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada. If ACTA is approved and put into place, all these countries will have to live with it. All of you have probably heard about SOPA and Protect IP (PIPA). They were some anti-piracy acts that got turned down in the US. They were laws to censor the internet of pirated information, software, medial, etc. But they did more then that, they allowed people to shut down whole sites and put people in prison without full proof. I won’t get into that right now, but what I will get into is ACTA. … Continue Reading
Hydrogen Battery In The Works
Welcome Viewers,
Sorry this post is kind of late, I took the day off from school since exams just finished and I pretty much slept all day.
Todays rumor is about Apples new hydrogen-fuel battery that they just patented. It converts hydrogen and oxygen into water to power the device. The battery supposedly lasts between a few days to maybe even a week or two on one charge. The new technology is better for the environment, since the only by product is water. These fuel systems are currently used to power space shuttles, boats, and airplanes, but Apple is the first to try to put it in laptops and phones. … Continue Reading
