Where we’re headed with OS X Mountain Lion?
Hello, Viewers!
All of you guys have computers, unless maybe your reading this on a phone. Windows, Mac, Alienware, or maybe even Chromebook. However, most people know about Apple’s Mac, famous for it’s OS X. For those of you that don’t already know, the current version of OS X, the operating system, is 10.7 or OS X Lion. Apple has a trend, as many companies do, of releasing a new cat every summer. So it’s come around to that time again when Apple is showing off their new developer’s preview of the next OS. The next version will be 10.8, or OS X Mountain Lion. … Continue Reading
What’s all this iPad 3 business?
Hello, Scuttlebutt readers!
I’m glad to announce that I have joined the Scuttlebutt posting team and will hopefully be posting every Tuesday! If you want to know more about me, you can visit my page here. I’m really excited to be a part of this blog while it’s still young! So, as my first post, I’m going to bring every single rumor that I’ve heard and seen all to the very tips of your fingers. There’s been many different ideas about the name, style, looks, ect. But we’re going to start out with the name.
What to Expect with Apple in 2012
Welcome Viewers,
First off, I would like to start this weeks post by apologizing about not adding a post last week. I had a lot going on and didn’t get home on Thursday until around 11:30 pm. I didn’t get any free time really until Sunday and Monday and decided to just wait until this week to do my next post. So again I am terribly sorry and will try not to do that again.
The last blog post was about what to expect from Android in 2012, so I thought it would make sense to do an article about Apple in 2012. So today’s post will be about what to expect from Apple in the upcoming year. … Continue Reading
Hydrogen Battery In The Works
Welcome Viewers,
Sorry this post is kind of late, I took the day off from school since exams just finished and I pretty much slept all day.
Todays rumor is about Apples new hydrogen-fuel battery that they just patented. It converts hydrogen and oxygen into water to power the device. The battery supposedly lasts between a few days to maybe even a week or two on one charge. The new technology is better for the environment, since the only by product is water. These fuel systems are currently used to power space shuttles, boats, and airplanes, but Apple is the first to try to put it in laptops and phones. … Continue Reading
Siri TV
Welcome viewers,
To kick off the start of my blog, I have chosen a rumor that is getting pretty popular lately, Apple’s iTV. I am very interested to see what will happen with the iTV and whether it will come out or not.
The iTV is said to be the next generation of the Apple TV. A main difference between the two is that while the Apple TV is a small black box you plug into a TV, the iTV is rumored to be a full TV. Many people are speculating that it will be released in two different sizes. Most places I have read say the two sizes will be 32″ and 37″, but others believe it will be 42″ and 50″. I personally think it would make more sense for a 42″ and 50″ because big TVs are very popular right now. From what I have read, the iTV will have a new and improved interface and be very user-friendly. The main feature that is supposed to ship on the iTV is Siri (For those of you that don’t know, Siri is the new iPhone 4S’s virtual assistant). This prediction started when Steve Job’s biography came out, and Steve Jobs talked about it in an interview:
