Google’s Siri

Google's current Voice Search app.

Greetings Viewers,

Rumors have emerged about Google’s Siri competitor, Majel. Majel will be a virtual assistant that is very similar to that of Siri on the iPhone 4S. Majel will perform tasks such as manage calendars, tasks, send text messages/emails, and more.

Majel’s name comes from the Federation Computer from Star Trek, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. Majel will be voice controlled like Siri, but will lack Siri’s “fun personality”. Google is aiming for an accurate, fast personal assistant to get work done, not to goof around. While Google already has a voice command system, Voice Actions, Majel will be its successor. Siri TV

This is the concept design of the Apple iTV.

Welcome viewers,

I personally think it would make more sense for a 42″ and 50″ because big TVs are very popular right now. From what I have read, the iTV will have a new and improved interface and be very user-friendly. The main feature that is supposed to ship on the iTV is Siri (For those of you that don’t know, Siri is the new iPhone 4S’s virtual assistant). This prediction started when Steve Job’s biography came out, and Steve Jobs talked about it in an interview:
